At Jabali teachers prepare our young ones for future schooling by teaching them the basics of subjects such as math ( Number work) language and reading.

Duties:

Plan lessons in line with the curriculum, that teach subjects, such as reading and math, as well as engage them through sports, art and crafts and other experiential learning. 

-Assess students to evaluate their abilities, strengths, and weaknesses

-Teach students as an entire class or in small groups the lessons they have planned

-Communicate with parents about their child’s progress

-Work with individual students to challenge them and overcome their weaknesses

-Develop and enforce classroom rules to teach children proper behaviour

-Supervise children outside of the classroom—for example, at lunchtime or during recess

-Teachers act as facilitators or coaches to help students learn and apply   important concepts.  Many teachers use a children friendly approach i.e  songs, games, props, to help children understand abstract concepts, solve problems, and develop critical thinking skills.
